What is personal data?

When is your data collected?
In the context of using the Fermob Lighting application, Fermob is required to collect information relating to Customers smartphones necessary for processing debug log reports:
- Application name
- Application version
- Cordova version
- Smartphone manufacturer
- Smartphone model
- Platform
- OS version
- Paired products identification
To enable the Fermob Lighting application to perform Bluetooth operations, configure and control Fermob compatible products, the Customer is required to activate background location on their smartphone.
Fermob does not collect any location data, even when Location is activated. However deactivating location may cause the application to not operate properly.
The Fermob Lighting application has no advertising purpose.
Recipients of Personal Data
The data collected by Fermob are intended for its own use and that of its partners.
Fermob will have to transmit your personal data to contractual service providers for the application improvement.
Fermob will also collaborate with commercial partners for the management of marketing and customer relations to offer you applicable customized offers. To this end, Fermob will be able to receive and transmit to its partners the changes that you indicate concerning your personal data. At no time will Fermob transfer or share your personal data with companies whose purpose is the acquisition of prospects and the sending of commercial solicitation by SMS or e-mail without your consent.
These transmissions are done in strict compliance with the regulations in force relating to personal data.
Duration of data retention
Your personal data are kept 13 months from the end of the business relationship or of the last contact. However, the data may be stored and archived for a longer period of time to fulfill a legal obligation.

Fermob takes the necessary measures to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of the personal data transmitted to it in compliance with the applicable legal provisions.
