This year, Fermob has given contemporary artist Koralie free reign to decorate its iconic H25 lamp Balad.
 
Koralie is a renowned contemporary artist who takes inspiration from the different places she visits on her travels. She is influenced by nature, cultures and traditions (folk costumes, iconic landmarks and animist rituals), which offer aesthetic diversity and each have their own symbolism. In recent years, she has become an expert in pattern art and has developed a stencilling technique which she sees as a new creative language.
 
For the H25 lamp Balad design, the artist was mainly inspired by phyllotaxis and came up with these plant rosettes echoing a certain perfection in the plant world.
