Delo Lindo

Description

Delo Lindo was formed in 1985 by Fabien Cagani and Laurent Matras, both born in 1961. They both studied interior design at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, after which they both began working on furniture projects.

Biography

Their creations have been commissioned by the likes of Soca, Ligne Roset and Cinna. They also created the furniture for the Orchestre National d'Île-de-France (National Orchestra of the Île-de-France region) in 1997.
They have also worked on a whole host of interior design and set design projects, including set design work for the Expofil trade show, Monuments Nationaux (French National Monuments) and the Parc Naturel Régional de Lorraine.
Alongside this, they also carry out their own research work which has been presented in joint exhibitions at the Chez Valentin gallery in Paris (2000 and 2001) and in personal exhibitions in the de/di/bY gallery, also in Paris (2001 and 2002).

Over the last few years, they have been broadening the scope of their activities by branching out into industrial design. This has seen them work with SEB and, more recently, Schneider Electric.
Their work can also be seen in the collections of the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris and the Pompidou Centre, all in and around Paris.
