Fermob cultivates this value and applies it to its everyday processes, good practices and materials:

• Fermob furniture is made from iron or aluminium, materials that are over 95% recyclable all over the world. Consequently, Fermob can guarantee that its furniture is not only recyclable, but – more importantly – actually recycled.

• Outdoor technical fabrics are recovered via a unique, patented process, ensuring that 100% of components are recycled.

• Environmentally-friendly paints protect both the environment and human health and are applied in a zero-waste facility

• Recycled and recyclable packaging: Fermob has been participating in the Eco-Emballages ("Eco-Packaging") scheme for a number of years.

• Reducing energy consumption is part of a continual improvement process, as demonstrated through concrete action, such as the 10°C decrease in the paint oven temperature or the use of a new double-sided adhesive that does not require pre-heating.

• Eco-design is a key part of the design process, helping to tackle key environmental issues by reducing the consumption of raw materials and limiting waste.

As a result of this inherent respect for the environment, Fermob has gained ISO 14001 certification.
